How We Started
In 2001 Dr. Jimmy Myers founded The Timothy Center, a brick and mortar behavioral health facility based in Austin, Texas. 6 years later Dr. Myers’ son, Dr. Josh Myers, joined the facility as co-owner and operator. The father son duo adapted in 2020 due to COVID, as did much of the world, and moved their almost 20 year old business online. It was out of this virtual behavioral health experience that Adjuvant Behavioral Health was born. By January 2022, Drs. Myers desired to pursue building a more robust technology first behavioral health clinic. They teamed up with Dr. Chris Murray who brought years of experience with scaling behavioral health practices, and more specifically, expertise in scaling oncology focused behavioral health services. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Zsila Sadighi, a renowned Neurological Psychiatric Oncologist with an impressive history at both St. Jude’s Hospital and MD Anderson Hospital joined as the fourth and final founder. Drs. Myers, Murray, and Sadighi are proud to be part of a new niche in behavioral health and look forward to establishing new pathways for supporting oncology patients and their families.
