Let our trained and licensed experts help you manage the range of emotions caused by diagnosis, initial treatment, and follow-up cancer scans and screening.
Adjuvant’s convenient online psychotherapy service is the missing piece in current oncology treatment plans. We accept insurance, prescribe medication when appropriate, and provide oncology-specific therapy from licensed professionals.
Multiple studies show that when a cancer patient’s mental wellness improves, their treatment outcomes improve as well.

Reframe Your Treatment Journey
It’s not a journey anyone chooses, but a course that so many of us are forced to navigate. Our goal is to comfort your mind along the way and help to re-frame how patients (and those close to them) view their daily realities.
Adjuvant therapists are specially trained to understand how cancer impacts an individual’s mental health, and utilize proven methods to reduce that emotional impact.
“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”Victor Frankl
Adjuvant aims to provide support to all impacted by cancer, not just those who can afford it out of pocket. We accept many major insurance companies and constantly add more to the list.

Experienced Medication Management
We believe that when appropriate, medication can be a core piece of the mental wellness puzzle. Studies show that cancer patients benefit from counseling and medication combined versus either alone.
We provide a psychiatry medical director to oversee this care and our Chief Medical Officer is uniquely dual board certified in American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in pediatrics and adults with expertise treating toxicities of cancer treatment as well as board certified in Adult and Pediatric Neuro-Oncology with a history of treating primary cancer patients.
Our CMO has personally seen the significant need for all patients and their caregivers undergoing a cancer diagnosis and are warranted to have full psychosocial support as part of their cancer treatment.
Whether it is through therapy or medication management, Adjuvant is committed to providing cancer patients and their loved ones exactly what they need.
“The diagnosis and treatment was scary and I felt very alone in the cancer journey. I was depressed and didn’t know what to do. Therapy gave me a level of support that changed my mental state. I had something to work towards and someone to support me.”
“Cancer was hard for me, but it was even harder for my husband. Him having a counselor that was a safe place to talk meant the world to me and our family.”
“Due to hormonal changes and struggles with depression, I was relieved to find counseling and medication management focused on oncology with no additional out-of-pocket costs”
